CMHA has set up a trust fund account for Time keeper Bob

Checks can be made payable to "Bob Allen In Trust"

The account has been opened at the National Trust Bank across from the Eddie Bush Arena in Collingwood.

There is also a box at the Pro-Shop at the Eddie Bush where donations can be dropped off and Christmas card for those wishing to sign it.

This Friday at 7:30 pm there is an open invite to share in celebrating Atom A winning the 2012 International Silver Stick over the weekend.

Mayor Sandra Cooper is going to come to drop the puck as well as the mayor from Clearview Township.
We are hoping to hang the banner and we will be having silver stick cake upstairs after the game.

Congratulations to the Atom A team for winning the International Silver Stick Tournament in Sarnia over the weekend!!!

The Collingwood McQueen Vue Paving Atom A Blackhawks participated in the International Silver Stick Finals this weekend in Sarnia, Ontario.
The Blackhawks played Dorchester to open the tournament and skated to a 6 - 1 victory. Game 2 was against The Capital City Vipers from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This game ended with the same score, 6 - 1 in favour of Collingwood. Game 3 was against The South Bend Indiana Irish Rovers. Collingwood won this game 4 - 2 to qualify for the semi final game against The Brampton Battalion. Brampton took an early lead but the boys from Collingwood did not give up and battled back from a 3 - 1 deficit with 4 unanswered goals to win the game 5 - 3. The Championship game was against the Arapahoe Colorado Warriors. Collingwood played a great, fast game and won the International Silver Stick North American Championship with a 5 - 2 victory.
The Collingwood team was once again represented their hometown with class, and were awarded the Bob Leclair Memorial Award. This award is presented to the
"Atom team displaying the honourable qualities of good discipline, attitude, ability and conduct, as well as all-round good sportsmanship throughout the North American Silver Stick"
Emmett Sproule was presented with the Tom Norris Memorial Award, awarded to "The most outstanding Atom player at the North American Silver Stick Finals"
Sproule was also named, along with Myles Baker, to the tournament All Star Team.

The Annual General Meeting for CMHA is scheduled for Thursday April 19th @ 700pm at the Hall of Fame Room at the Eddie Bush Arena.

If you wish to make an change or amendment to a current by-law you must submit to the CMHA secretary in WRITING by March 31st 2012.
The board or any member in good standing may submit an amendment to current bylaw.

All members in good standing shall have access to to any proposed amendments to the By-laws , seven (7) days prior to the AGM.

Any proposed by-law change must be approved by two-thirds(2/3) vote by the members present at the AGM.

As well at this meeting we will be electing a new board of directors for the 2012-2013 season. Please consider volunteering your time to help Collingwood Minor Hockey.

CMHA will be running another goalie clinic Sat January 28 from 4:10pm to 5:40 pm. Cost is $20 per goalie. You must pre register by contacting Ted Lalonde at lalondeassoc@gmail.com
